Program Structure
Our comprehensive 3-week program is thoughtfully designed to engage children for 3 hours each day, 5 days a week, offering a blend of movement, academic learning, and creative handwork.
Here's a closer look at the daily schedule:
-
Movement Meditation (15 minutes): Each day begins with a 15-minute session focused on strengthening the child's connection to their body, using movement meditation to center and prepare them for the day ahead.
-
Academic Learning (1.5 hours): Children will spend 1.5 hours in a therapeutic, safe, and non-judgmental environment, engaging in academic pursuits. This includes listening, discussions, reading, writing, and artistic activities designed to stimulate their minds and encourage creative expression.
-
Reflection and Transition (15 minutes): Following the academic session, there will be a 15-minute period for sharing and reflection, closing with an expression of gratitude. This time helps children transition smoothly into the next part of the workshop.
-
Handwork Session (1 hour): The final hour is dedicated to immersive handwork, where children will craft a human figure stuffed doll from scratch. This hands-on activity involves measuring, cutting, and stitching, integrating practical skills with creativity.
This structured yet dynamic approach ensures a balanced and enriching experience for each child, fostering both intellectual and personal growth.
